东厝村是福建省南平市松溪县旧县乡下辖的行政村，位于县道831沿线，村名来自一户邵姓人家开基时所建、座东朝西的住宅[1]。

村子离松溪县城约23公里，交通便利。村部于2019年迁至新村部[1]。

地名由来[edit]

村子早先写作东昔、东席。因邵姓先人在此开基，住宅朝向东面而背对西方，故称东厝。当地方言中仍用“席”字的读音，人们也称之为“东席”[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村落始建于宋代，先属东平乡永宁里十四都，明清时仍属永宁里；民国时设东厝保，隶属渭田乡[1]。1952年另设东厝乡，归潘墩区下的第三区管辖；1956年并入游墩乡；1960年设大队，划归渭田公社管理；1966年改由旧县公社统辖；1984年政社分开后恢复乡级建制，大队改为村[1]。
