铁岭村位于茶平乡东北端，与浙江省庆元县相连，地处山区，三面环山。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

因该地蕴藏较多铁沙矿，村落又建在半山岭上，故名铁岭。[1]

宋朝时此地已有村落，隶属东平乡东关里五都。民国年间编入第五联保，其后归㮐坪乡铁岭保。1950年为城关区的铁岭乡；1958年划入红旗公社，成为茶平大队的一部分；1960年改属城关公社，称铁岭大队；1966年归茶平公社，仍为铁岭大队；1984年恢复乡制，大队改为村。[1]

村子多地质灾害。1989年起村里开始移民，1998年省里把本村划为省级地质灾害区，此后又多次移民。[1][2]

本村所辖自然村包括金厝垅、美岭、理坪新村、东岭新村、金岭新村、东洋村、银丘头、二级站，以及下铁岭和上铁岭。[2]

文化[edit]

2022年10月，铁岭村经认定成为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

2023年10月，铁岭村入选「2023年度南平市“绿盈乡村”中级版村庄」名单。[1]

2024年6月，铁岭村列入「第四批福建省高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
