吴山头村位于茶平乡东部，在湛卢山脚下，距松溪县城约8千米。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
吴氏族人在此开基定居，房屋建在山头上，村因此得名。[1]
宋朝时此地已隶属东平乡东关里五都。民国年间编入第四联保。1950年此地叫㮐坪乡吴山头村；1961年成为茶平公社的吴山头大队；1984年恢复乡制，大队改为村，定名吴山头村。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
湛卢山中庵摩崖石刻位于本村，年代为宋代，刻字包括“巉岩古道”和“香岩”，已列为县级文物保护单位。[2]
文化[edit]
2024年7月，吴山头村入选「2024年福建省“金牌旅游村”」名单。[1]
2024年2月，本村成为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」的创建对象。[1]
2023年12月，村里获评「2023年度福建省森林村庄」。[1]
2021年12月，吴山头村被认定为「2021年度南平市“绿盈乡村”中级版村庄」。[1]
2015年10月，村子被收入「福建省第一批省级传统村落」。[1]
