岩后村位于松溪县城东郊，距县城约6公里，东与大布村毗邻，南接横垅村，是河东乡下辖的行政村。村名源于村落后方的岩石峭壁。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1975年，城关公社组织大布大队十多户村民，迁往原属大布管辖的岩后一带，设立基建队（岩后），由城关公社直接领导。1977年，横垅大队的直垅、前洋、峰山、外新厝四个自然村并入其中，此后称岩后农场。[1]

关于岩后大队的设立时间，政府网站记为1980年10月增设，博雅地名网则记为1981年改为岩后大队。[3][1]

至1984年10月，乡一级建制恢复，原来的大队改称岩后村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，岩后村入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单。[2]
