河东村位于松溪县城东郊，与县城之间只隔东关大桥，是河东乡政府驻地所在的城郊村。村名原作水东街，因地处松溪河东岸而改为河东。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村落始建于清朝时期，当时属城厢河东隅的第二图。1941年设河东保；1952年，这里一度称河东乡，归第一区管辖。[1]

1958年，村子划入城关公社的红旗大队；1960年另设河东大队，到1984年大队才改为村。[1]

经济[edit]

1980年代，村里建成一处占地100亩的工业区，后来（2005年）另辟出70亩；区内有食品、木制品、包装和砖瓦等二十多家企业。[2]

地理环境[edit]

全村由白亭子、枇杷坑、南段、下畲、奉进和河东等自然村组成。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

河东马鞍山遗址位于村中，年代为商周，属县级文物保护单位。[3]
