水东社区位于松溪县城东侧，与县城之间只隔东关大桥，是河东乡政府驻地所在的城郊社区。社区因位于松溪河东岸而得名。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区于1989年12月成立，是河东乡下辖的唯一一个社区。[3]

2000年6月，社区设立居民区支部。2015年1月，居委会迁至金凯小区，此后名称沿用至今。[1][2]
