地名由来[edit]
村名有两种说法。博雅地名网称，此地是吴村溪（原称衢溪）与渭田溪的汇合处，村庄处在交通要道上，故名。[1]
松溪地名探源则说，村子原名衢源，因吴村溪（原名瞿溪）在此与渭田溪相汇，旧称瞿口。松溪方言中「瞿」与「巨」同音，遂演变为巨口。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
村庄宋代建立，当时属东平乡豪田里的二十二都。1941年划入第一区署渭田乡，为巨口保；1960年成为渭田公社巨口大队。[1]
1984年10月恢复乡建制，大队改称村。[1]
风水林与村规[edit]
村中有一片千年风水林，属生态公益林，面积约1370亩。过去非法砍伐频繁，村民因山体滑坡和房屋被掩埋而吃了苦头，于是立下村规：谁砍树，就罚谁家杀猪，将猪肉分给村民。[2]
1997年3月，时任福建省委副书记的习近平到村中调研，对这条村规予以肯定。[2]
经济[edit]
村中的主要经济作物有毛芋、烟草和食用菌。红菇是村里的特色农产品。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2012年，村子被命名为省级生态村。[1]
