地名与历史沿革[edit]
明代建村时，周围多生苦槠树，村称槠林；方言中「槠」与「株」同音，于是称苦株林，后简化为株林。[1]
宋代建村，属东平乡永和里的二十三都。1935年设保，1954年设株林乡，隶属第六区。1962年渭田公社设株林大队；1984年10月，乡制重设，大队改称行政村。[1]
株林窑址[edit]
株林窑址在村东侧，为清代民窑，属龙泉窑系，产品以青釉、青花瓷为主，器形有碗、盘等。窑炉为长条形，外侧用河卵石、内用砖砌成，残长12.5米，宽4米。该窑址被公布为县级文物保护单位。[2]
