何舟坪村位于华桥乡境内，离乡政府约16公里，海拔均值620米，峰顶830米。村民以何、陈、官三姓为主，村子2010年被评为省级生态村。[1]

全村耕地面积1493亩，其中种植烟叶300亩；山林面积10404亩。[1]

人口民族[edit]

全村共223户，人口794人，辖7个村民小组，统计年份未详。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是：村子地形像船，即「舟」；地势平坦，为「坪」；村中何姓居多，因而名为何舟坪。村民以何、陈、官三姓为主，始祖何贵华于明朝嘉靖年间由黎川泸游迁居此地，至今已有五百年。[1]

1979年时仍称何舟坪生产大队，1984年10月才改成村。2010年，村子被评为省级生态村。[1]
