历史沿革[edit]
古称「登秀里」，其中「登秀」指秀丽的山岭，「里」则是古代村落的称呼。[3]
村中邓氏，先祖邓闾在元末明初随朱元璋征战鄱阳湖一带后定居于此；家族认为其源出宋代的邓润浦，此人官至兵部尚书左丞。[2][3]
清代光绪年间，村中有三人曾任儒林郎；邓礼防、邓承业父子获封奉直大夫。[2][3]
福田禅寺位于村中。据博雅地名网所载，寺始建于唐代会昌年间；明代，邑人李希敬捐资重建福田寺，其后改为禅寺，又经重修扩建，至今保存。[2]

村民以烟叶种植和林业为主要收入，山中产野生红菇。[2]
