洋塘村地处光泽县北部群山之间，辖10个自然村，村名由两个旧片区的村名各取一字组成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历：「羊头片」与「青塘片」原为两个片区，各取一字合成村名，其中「羊」字后改写作「洋」。[1]

中华人民共和国成立前，羊头片与青塘片合并为一个保，称羊塘保。新中国成立后，村名仍沿用两片的各一字，只把「羊」改为「洋」，称洋塘大队。[1]

1958年设大队，1973年改设为村。[1]

2022年10月，洋塘村入选2022年度南平市「绿盈乡村」中级版村庄名单。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村与寨里相距约12千米，与光泽县城相距约13千米，四周群山环抱，耕地约4400亩。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

洋塘梁氏宗祠始建于明崇祯七年（1634年），为两进合院式，由门楼、门厅、正殿和后殿组成，占地约360平方米，门楼为五山式砖构。该祠为福建省第七批省级文物保护单位。[1][2]

水西黄氏宗祠位于水西自然村，建于清代，为县级文物保护单位。[1]
