岛石村位于止马镇东北部，地处富屯溪畔的上游，与华桥乡接壤，距镇政府约3.5公里。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

村落总面积25.3平方公里，全村630户，人口2491人；村中10个自然村，划分12个村民小组（博雅地名网，未注明年份）。[1][2]

止马溪流经村中，下游依次经白门楼村、止马村，最终在水口村注入西溪。[3]

古迹[edit]

浔江自然村的浔江朱氏宗祠为清代建筑，列为县级文物保护单位。[4]

文物名录中另有岛石何氏祠堂及民居，时代为清代，未定级。[4]
