杉关村是光泽县止马镇闽赣交界处的行政村，东边与镇区相接，北边与仁厚村毗邻，西边与江西省厚村乡飞源村相望，南边与李坊乡杨里村接壤。[4]

村中的杉关岭上有古关隘杉关，唐广明元年（880年）始建，是福建省省级文物保护单位。[1][3]

杉关[edit]

杉关位于杉关岭上，唐广明元年（880年）始建，古人称之为「瓯闽西户」「闽西第一关」，是闽赣边界的军事要地。[1][2]

明洪武三年（1370年）沿山脊筑起城垣。现存关前残墙长约1500米，墙外砌青条石，墙内设石磴道；关门城垣残厚约6.5米、高约3.3米，关门上方的「闽西第一关」石匾尚存。[1][2]

清同治三年（1864年）太平军曾经此入赣。1933年间，红军也在这里歼灭了国民党的一个师。[1]

这处古关在2009年经公布为福建省文物保护单位（第七批），此后于2022年又被评为「国家3A级旅游景区」。[1][2][3]

寺庙[edit]

村中的安福寺，是全镇规模最大的佛教寺院。[4]

村落面积约3平方公里，耕地1799.7亩，全村有1561人、413户，辖7个自然村、6个村民小组（博雅地名网，未注明年份）。[4][5]
