村子与本镇的桃林村、梅溪村、茶富村毗邻，也与崇仁乡洋塘村相接；村域面积8.8平方公里，距县城16公里。[2]

耕地2222.46亩，山林有1.4万亩。[2]

村辖8个自然村、12个村民小组，据博雅地名网，有387户、村民1586人，统计年份未注明。[2]

村民收入主要来自烟叶、水稻及水稻制种，并有劳动力外出务工。[2]
