官路乡处在浦城县北端一带，隶属南平市，北侧与浙江省江山市廿八都镇接界；它的东南侧挨着忠信镇，南侧连着九牧镇，西侧与盘亭乡毗邻。全乡面积101.28平方千米。[1][3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

「官路」之名，据博雅地名网所载，源于古时进京赶考者必经的道路。[3] 宋代至清代，此地属毕岭里，民国时期称毕岭乡。1951年起分属县第八区、第九区的官清乡，1956年改属九牧区，1958年为九牧公社的一部分。1961年，九牧公社析出部分地域另设官路公社；直到1984年9月，官路公社才被取消，换成了现在的乡一级建制。[1][3]

2021年12月，全乡被确定为「2021年度南平市平安农机示范乡镇」。[3]

地理环境[edit]

乡境在浦城县北部，地处官路溪上游，距县城约32公里。[3] 全乡面积101.28平方千米，属亚热带季风湿润气候。[1]

人口民族[edit]

第七次全国人口普查以2020年11月1日零时为计算时点，全乡常住人口当时为6224人。[2] 2019年末户籍人口则为11494人，两项数字统计口径不同，不宜相互比较。[1]

经济[edit]

至2019年，境内登记的工业企业共9家，规模以上的仅1家。[1] 农业以水稻为主，此外还产油菜籽、薏米、芝麻和桐油。[3]
