秀里村是福建省南平市浦城县盘亭乡下辖的行政村，宋代属安乐里。宋淳化年间，吴待问迁居于此，其后子嗣多中进士，吴育官至北宋参知政事。村中有宋赠一品太夫人李氏吴母墓。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子原名兽岭，因一带山形像啸狮、舞象、赤蛇、元龟，故名。后来村人因此地山水秀明，改称秀岭；又取兽岭的谐音，改为秀里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代此地属安乐里，为其中的第六图；清代仍属安乐里，民国时属棠秀乡。1951年归第八区秀东乡，1952年第九区设秀里乡，本村为乡驻地，1956年改属九牧区秀里乡。1958年归九牧公社东峰大队，1960年析出为秀里大队，1961年隶盘亭公社。1984年设秀里村村民委员会。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

宋赠一品太夫人李氏吴母墓位于村中，时代为宋代，为县级文物保护单位。[1]
