盘亭乡是福建省南平市浦城县下辖的乡，位于县境西北部，处在闽、浙、赣三省交界处。全乡辖14个行政村，东北与浙江省江山市廿八都镇接壤，西南、西北与江西省广丰区二度关镇毗邻。截至2019年末，户籍人口为16757人。[1][2][3]
历史沿革[edit]
宋至清代，此地属安乐里。民国时期设柳亭、棠秀两乡。[1][6]
1950年11月，此地先归第八区；两年后该区更名为第九区。1956年起改由九牧区管辖，1958年12月并入九牧公社。1961年6月，从九牧公社划出，另设盘亭公社。1984年9月，公社改为乡。[1][2][6]
地理环境[edit]
乡境地处闽浙赣交界，205国道由南至北穿过全乡。浮盖山是闽浙两省的界山，在浙江省江山市廿八都镇以南，本乡庙湾村位于它的东北面。[1][5][8]
县政府网站称，乡内散布着三种方言岛。[4]
地名由来：盘亭溪自东向西绕村而过，村落三面临水，居民沿溪修筑石陂，形如盘状，故名。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
乡内有五处县级文物保护单位。唐代的仙霞古道深坑段在深坑村，宋代的碗窑背窑址在东峰村，唐至清的大云寺在柳墩村，近现代的西关乡苏维埃政府旧址在均溪村前山自然村，近现代的垄冲坞乡苏维埃政府旧址在刘田村垄冲坞自然村。[7]
浮盖山景区总面积14.40平方千米，主峰海拔1146.4米。浦城县境内的部分于2019年启动开发，游客接待中心设在庙湾村。山上的岩石形态各异，多为熔结凝灰岩。1998年7月，浮盖山被列为福建省第四批风景名胜区。[5][8]
