历史沿革[edit]
民国时属浮流乡，1958年归富岭公社榆坞大队，1961年划入浮流公社并设庆元大队，1972年划入管厝公社，1984年设管厝乡庆元村村民委员会[1]。
福建省爱卫办在2021年11月宣布，庆元村获评「2021年福建省卫生村」[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
村内有三处县级文物保护单位。「南长湾大捷战场旧址」为近现代战场旧址；「中共东坑桥支部和江（山）浦（城）县委旧址」年代为1938年；「红军战地纪念碑」年代为1992年[1][2][3]。
