岩步村是管厝乡下辖的行政村，位于浦城县北部，西接忠信镇，东距上村村约2公里[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

村子背靠船山，旧时进村须经岩下的狮子岩，沿岩级攀上便可望见村落[1]。民国时属溪南乡，1958年属仙阳公社岩步大队，1972年改属管厝公社，1984年设管厝乡岩步村村民委员会[1]。

福建省爱卫办在2021年11月宣布，岩步村获评「2021年福建省卫生村」[1]。
