历史沿革[edit]
民国时属溪南乡，新中国成立后一度隶属官田乡。1972年改属管厝公社，1984年设口窑村村民委员会，隶属管厝乡[1]。
村子2010年获得省级生态乡村称号。福建省爱卫办在2021年11月宣布，口窑村获评「2021年福建省卫生村」[1][2]。
文化[edit]
村境内有白象山、古佛寺，本村的水口自然村位于党溪、东坑、忠信等溪水汇流入南浦江之处[2]。
