管厝乡是福建省南平市浦城县下辖的乡，位于县境东北部，东与浙江省龙泉市接壤[1][3]。县政府2026年3月公布的行政区划为乡辖17个村委会[5]。第七次全国人口普查时，全乡常住人口为10515人[4]。乡内的牛鼻山遗址为新石器时代晚期遗址，2009年被列为福建省级文物保护单位[6][7]。

历史沿革[edit]

据传此地原名翁坞际，清代管姓在此定居者渐多，遂改称「管处」，因与「管厝」读音相近，后多写作管厝[1]。宋至清代，辖地分属郊阳里、官田里和登俊里[2]。民国时，今乡域分属官田乡、溪南乡和浮流乡[1]。

新中国成立后，1951年分属第七区和第十一区，1958年分属仙阳公社和富岭公社[1]。1972年，仙阳、富岭两公社各划出一部分大队，组建管厝公社；1976年又从忠信公社划入里林大队[1]。1984年9月，管厝公社改设为管厝乡[1][2]。

2011年4月，环境保护部授予管厝乡「2011年度国家级生态乡镇」称号[1]。

地理环境[edit]

乡境位于浦城县东北部，东与浙江省龙泉市接壤，南接富岭镇和万安乡，西靠仙阳镇，北连忠信镇[1][2]。乡内有公路接国道205线[1]。境内蕴藏硫铁、铜和磷等矿产[1]。

人口民族[edit]

2020年11月1日零时，全乡常住户数为4438户，常住人口为10515人，比2010年第六次全国人口普查时增加576人[4]。百度百科另载2019年末户籍人口为21474人，与上述常住人口的统计口径不同[2]。

经济[edit]

农业以水稻为主，兼产薏米、油茶，中药材有厚朴、白术和蕲蛇干等[1]。乡镇企业中有制鞋、铸锅、竹木加工等厂[1]。乡境是全县香樟的主要产地[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

牛鼻山遗址在党溪村的牛鼻山南坡，是新石器时代晚期遗址。1989年首次发掘，次年再次发掘，共出土石器、玉器、陶器等300余件[6][7]。2009年，遗址被列为福建省级文物保护单位[6][7]。

庆元村境内有三处县级文物保护单位，分别是「南长湾大捷战场旧址」「中共东坑桥支部和江（山）浦（城）县委旧址」和「红军战地纪念碑」[8][9]。
