枫溪乡是福建省南平市浦城县下辖的乡，位于县境西部，处于山下溪上游一带，面积54.54平方千米。[1][3]

乡域东接山下乡，东北邻永兴镇，西南、西和西北方向与武夷山市接壤。1986年1月重新设乡，现辖7个行政村。[3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

「枫溪」一名源于历史上溪流两岸多枫树。[1]

宋至清代，境内大部分属新兴里七图，一小部分属仁风里三图。民国时设枫溪乡，1949年归第五区管辖，1956年改属临江区，1958年随临江公社设置。[3][1]

1961年曾分设枫溪公社，1964年并入山下公社；1984年隶属山下乡；1986年1月重新设立枫溪乡。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

乡境多山地，蕴藏硫铁矿。气候属亚热带季风湿润气候。[1][3]

人口民族[edit]

第七次全国人口普查登记，2020年11月1日零时全乡常住人口为2945人，共1352户；其中男性1642人，女性1303人，性别比为126.02。[5]

据百度百科，截至2019年末，户籍人口为6864人。该数字与常住人口统计口径不同，两者相差较大。[3]

经济[edit]

乡内农业以单季水稻为主，兼产毛竹和笋干。乡镇企业中有竹木制品、造纸和笋干加工等厂。[1]

文化[edit]

2014年6月，环境保护部授予枫溪乡「2012—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

乡内有两处革命旧址列为文物保护单位。「中共崇安特支浦城岱后办事处、支部旧址」年代为1927年，为省级文物保护单位，位于岱后村的岱后自然村。旧址原为回龙仙庵，俗称「三将军庙」，始建于清乾隆年间。[1][2]

「中共小北区委旧址」位于池家村，年代为近现代，为县级文物保护单位。[1][2]
