洋溪村在浦城县西南，与县城相距46公里，是古楼乡的南部门户。全村辖5个自然村、10个村民小组。村中的洋溪观音桥为县级文物保护单位。[1][2][3]

地名由来[edit]

昔日村旁溪流两岸杨柳茂盛，称作杨溪，后因谐音写作洋溪。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时属洋溪乡。解放初年（1951年）归第六区洋溪乡；1958年属永兴公社；1961年改隶洋溪公社，村为洋溪大队；1965年转属古楼公社；1984年成为古楼乡下辖的洋溪村村民委员会。[2]

古桥与古街[edit]

洋溪观音桥建成已两百多年，横跨洋溪河，连接两岸的古街与古民居，桥头街道上仍可见旧时商旅往来的痕迹。该桥为清代建造，列为县级文物保护单位。[1][3]

村内山湾、岩头两个小组保存较完好的古民居。村中龙兴寺香火不断，庙会时香客云集。[1]

红军过境[edit]

1932年（民国二十一年），方志敏率红军经村中龙头岭攻打浦城县城，并曾在洋溪街上作过革命演讲。[1]
