历史沿革[edit]
村名原作樟溪村，宋代游姓人家在此建起游氏宗祠后，改称大游。[1]
民国时期村境先隶体仁镇，后归西山镇。1949年划入第一区，设大游乡；1956年改隶富岭区，乡名不变；1958年改为城郊公社的大游大队，1961年改隶桥头公社，1965年划归莲塘公社，1972年转入水南公社，1981年归万安公社，1984年设立村民委员会，为万安乡所辖的大游村。[1]
荣誉[edit]
据博雅地名网载，2020年11月，大游村列入南平市绿盈乡村中级版村庄名单；2023年2月，大游村列入福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村名单。[1]
