竹源村是浦城县万安乡的行政村，位于县境东北部，在闽江支流西溪的北侧，距县城约8公里。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期村境先隶体仁镇，后归西山镇。解放后归入第一区，1956年改由富岭区管辖；1958年成为城郊公社之下的一支，1961年改隶桥头公社，1965年划入莲塘公社，1972年转到水南公社，1981年归万安公社统辖，1984年设立竹源村村民委员会，隶属万安乡。[1]
