富湖村是浦城县万安乡的行政村，位于县城北部，距城关约4公里，东与竹源村相接，北与仙阳镇相连。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历，据博雅地名网载：旧时村民较为富足，村子又临大溪，溪面宽阔，因此称“湖”。[1]

1949年归第一区，1952年在第二区设富湖乡，1956年改属富岭区，1958年为城郊公社所辖的富湖大队，1961年改隶桥头公社，1965年划入莲塘公社，1972年改属水南公社，1981年改属万安公社，1984年设为万安乡的富湖村村民委员会。[1]
