吴墩村是九牧镇的行政村，村域沿205国道分布，属镇内的工贸区一带。村内的九牧上山板桥战斗遗址是县级文物保护单位。[1][2][5]

名称由来[edit]

旧时镇中部有五座山墩，相对矗立着一座庙，俗称「五龙抢珠」。周围的村庄便取名五墩，后谐音为吴墩；村委会设在此处，村名即由此而来。[4]

历史沿革[edit]

1998年6月，吴墩村村民委员会改属九牧镇。1984年改属九牧乡，为吴墩村村民委员会；1958年为九牧公社的吴墩大队；1957年改称吴墩乡；1952年属九牧区九牧乡。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

九牧上山板桥战斗遗址在村内中学后门，年代属近现代，为县级文物保护单位。[5][6]

文化[edit]

2025年3月，吴墩村被命名为「第七届全国文明村镇」。[1]
