九秋村是浦城县莲塘镇下辖的行政村，地处城关南部，靠近南浦溪。村名来历：相传村民掘塘时得泥鳅九尾，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时村属文通镇。1950年代初属县第一区，1951年隶城郊公社。1953年改属第十二区下沙乡，1958年归城郊公社下沙大队。1963年改称九秋大队，仍属城郊公社。1964年划归莲塘公社；1984年设村民委员会，隶莲塘乡；1998年6月改属莲塘镇。[1]
