东山村是浦城县莲塘镇下辖的行政村。村东侧有一座大荆山，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村庄在明清属上相里，民国属招贤乡。1950年代先后归第二区、临江区，并于1958年划入下沙公社。1964年转属莲塘公社，称东山大队。1984年设村民委员会，属莲塘乡；1998年6月改属莲塘镇。[1]
