余乐村是浦城县莲塘镇下辖的行政村，位于县城区西侧，205国道从村前经过。村名出自一则传说：相传约二百年前，村中人口聚居，田土肥沃，粮食有余，村民安居乐业。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时村属下沙乡。1950年代归县梦笔直属乡，后转入下沙公社。1967年单设余乐大队，同年归莲塘公社管辖。1984年设余乐村村民委员会，隶莲塘乡；1998年6月改属莲塘镇。[1]
