山桥村是浦城县莲塘镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域西部。村中旧称「谷满山桥」，村前有桥，桥东侧是一片平整开阔的大田。[1][2]
近年来村庄获得多项荣誉：2020年12月入选「2020年度福建省“一村一品”示范村」名单（优质稻）；2021年12月被命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」，并被认定为「2021年度南平市“绿盈乡村”中级版村庄」；2022年10月被福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2023年2月上榜「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单；2025年3月被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时此地属上相里，民国则隶体仁镇。1950年起归县第二区管辖，两年后划入梦笔直属乡；1958年村子归山桥公社。1964年村子改属莲塘公社并设山桥大队。1984年成立村民委员会，隶莲塘乡；1998年6月随乡改镇，归莲塘镇。[1]
1932年9月初，方志敏率红十军攻克浦城，红军后勤部的医院驻扎在村中水阁一带。村里有五十多人支援红军，借出木板、梯子，并帮忙挑运粮食、转送伤员，因而村庄有「红军村」之称。[1][2]
