寨门村位于忠信镇东北部，周边有毛洋、坑尾、高溪、下庄等村。相传村东侧的隘上桥一带曾建有山寨，寨门开在今天的东向水口，后人在附近建村，遂称寨门。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1951年归第九区柘溪乡，1952年改为第十区雁塘乡，1956年归仙阳区柘溪乡。1958年9月隶忠信公社，设寨门大队；1961年改隶游枫公社，1966年1月回归忠信公社。1984年起改为村民委员会建制，1993年起属忠信镇。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

应吉社红军标语在本村毛洋头自然村，为近现代遗存，属县级文物保护单位。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年十一月，省级爱卫部门将本村认定为「2021年福建省卫生村」；同年十二月，本村获评「2021年度福建省森林村庄」；2023年十月，本村被列为南平市「绿盈乡村」中级版村庄（2023年度）。[1]
