高溪村位于忠信镇中部偏北，与雁塘、际洋、毛洋、寨门、下庄、游村等村为邻。村前寨门的两条支流在此交汇，原名交溪，后谐音改称高溪。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代隶雁塘里，民国属雁塘乡，1951年归第九区高狮乡，1952年改为第十区高狮乡，1956年归仙阳区高狮乡。1958年隶忠信公社，设高狮大队；1961年7月划入游枫公社，1965年12月回归忠信公社。1984年起改为村民委员会建制，1993年起属忠信镇。本村是革命老区村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年十月，本村被列为南平市「绿盈乡村」中级版村庄（2023年度）。[1]
