雁塘村位于忠信镇中部，并向北延伸至与浙江省江山市交界的边境。村西两条溪水会合处形成一口大湖塘，过去常有鸿雁聚集，村名由此而来。[1]
地理环境[edit]
山庄溪源出境内七井尖，海拔1051米，由北向南穿过村子，在游村香花墩处注入柘溪，为柘溪的主要支流之一。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
本村旧时曾设区、设乡。1952年划入第十区雁塘乡，1956年改归仙阳区游枫乡，1958年隶忠信公社，设雁塘大队；1961年7月归游枫公社，1965年12月重回忠信公社。1984年8月起改为村民委员会建制，1993年划归忠信镇。[1]
