历史沿革[edit]
清代隶忠信里，民国归忠信乡，1951年设第九区海溪乡，1952年改为第十区的海溪乡，1956年归仙阳区海溪乡。1958年设海溪生产大队，隶忠信公社；1961年7月至1962年6月间划归湖山公社。1984年起改为村民委员会建制，1993年改属忠信镇。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
海溪关位于本村境内，在柘岭南侧的半山腰上。关址古称寨岭隘，扼守通往浙江江山、遂昌的古道，始建于汉代，历代均有修葺，为浦城县文物保护单位。[2]
关旁的石砌古道同为附属文物，上下约20公里，据考证始建于汉代。近山脊的垭口处有一方明嘉靖十年（1531年）的摩崖石刻，记载古道维修与捐资的情况。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年十一月，省级爱卫部门将本村认定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
