金樟村位于忠信镇。村中有一座山，形状似「金」字，山上多生樟树，村名因此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地属船山里，民国时分属大同乡与忠信乡。1951年划入第九区思贤乡，1952年改属第十区村桥乡，1956年归忠信乡。1958年9月设忠信公社金樟大队，1984年9月改设金樟村村民委员会。[1]
