浮桥村位于南浦溪下游，村在溪畔，村名由来是村边溪上有浮桥[1]。博雅地名网记整村人口430多人，共120多户（年份未注），村民小组3个[1]。村内古老的风景林区一带，又称桂花之村[1]。2022年12月，村庄被福建省绿化委员会命名为「2022年福建省森林村庄」；2023年10月，村庄入选「2023年度南平市绿盈乡村中级版村庄」名单[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

清代属上原里，民国时属水北乡，1949年属第二区，1951年驻临江，1952年归第十三区，1956年改隶石陂区，1958年属水北公社，1961年仍属水北公社[1]。1981年改属水北街公社，1984年析置浮桥村村民委员会，隶属水北街乡，1993年乡改镇后仍称浮桥村村民委员会[1]。解放前，村民曾为红军提供过送粮等帮助[1]。
