曹村是水北街镇下辖的行政村，位于南浦溪畔，村名由来是昔日曹姓在此开基[1]。村中留有清代古民居10多座，并有妈祖庙[1]。村北约二公里的山坳中有云峰寺，始建于唐贞观年间，现存大殿为明成化十八年（1482年）重修，属国家级文物保护单位[2][3]。博雅地名网记全村人口1800多人，共402户（年份未注），下设2个自然村，村民小组14个[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

云峰寺大殿为殿阁式抬梁构架，殿内柱础刻有「明成化拾捌」字样，清康熙二十七年（1688年）又经修葺[2][1]。

历史沿革[edit]

民国时属水北乡，1949年属第三区，1951年驻临江，1952年归第十三区，1956年改隶石陂区，1958年划入水北公社并设曹村大队，1960年改隶观前公社，1961年归水北公社[1]。1981年起为水北街公社的曹村大队，1984年设村民委员会，1993年乡改镇后仍称村民委员会[1]。
