石埠村是水北街镇下辖的老区基点村，位于浦城县南部。村名原作石埠后，因村前有石级、四周皆石山。2017年为编制二维码门牌，经县政府发文确定，改称石埠[1]。博雅地名网记全村91户、315人（年份未注），下设2个自然村，村民小组4个[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

民国时属水北乡，1949年属第二区，1951年驻临江，1952年归第十三区，1958年属水北公社，1960年自原大队析出设石埠大队，隶属观前公社，1961年改属水北公社[1]。1981年起为水北街公社的石埠大队，1984年设村民委员会，1993年乡改镇[1]。

解放前，这里山高坡陡、交通闭塞，是游击斗争的场所。1932年，一支游击队伍由崇安转至村中，此后长期在附近山林中活动，村民曾为其送粮、送水、传递消息[1]。
