岩鼻村是水北街镇下辖的行政村，位于浦城通往松溪的公路沿线，村名由来是村背后有岩石似鼻头[1]。博雅地名网记人口672人，共196户（年份未注），下设2个自然村，村民小组3个[2]。村中有外岩鼻、里岩鼻、牛鼻、香炉顶等景观，为革命老区村，解放前曾是游击队往来的必经之路[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
民国时属水北乡，1949年后归第三区，1951年驻临江，1952年归第十三区，1958年设水北公社岩鼻大队，1960年划入观前公社，1961年复属水北公社[1]。1981年起隶属水北街公社，1984年设村民委员会，1993年乡改镇后仍称岩鼻村村民委员会[1]。
