洙溪村是水北街镇下辖的革命老区村，村名由来是村对面有一条小溪，溪中石头多似珍珠，因「珠」与「洙」音近而称洙溪[1]。博雅地名网记全村人口813人，共207户（年份未注），下设2个自然村，村民小组5个[2]。村中定居的村民约半数为黄姓，黄氏始祖自江西迁入闽北，村中留有明末清初所建黄氏祠堂的遗迹[2]。
名胜古迹[edit]
村中的双狮寺建于清末，1989年经村民与社会各界捐助重建，庙会期间香客众多[2]。村内的官司坪留有明朝开采矿产的洞穴遗址[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
民国时属水北乡，后几经划入第二、第三、第十三区与观前镇、观前公社等建制，1958年设洙溪大队，隶属水北公社[1]。1981年起隶属水北街公社，1984年设村民委员会，1993年乡改镇后仍称洙溪村村民委员会[1]。
