甫下村位于浦城县西北部、仙阳镇北部，在腾云尖下，距仙阳14公里，距县城27公里，下辖7个自然村[1][2]。村名先为大铺下，源于建村时后门山上设有一座大铺，1958年成立生产大队时改称甫下[1]。村子于2021年11月获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号[1]。
