巽源村位于浦城县西北部，距仙阳集镇6.5公里，距县城22公里，下辖7个自然村[1][2]。村名相传与古时村中武术兴盛、出过挂帅的人物有关，早先称帅源村，后音转为巽源[1]。村子于2021年11月获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号；2019年12月，列入国家林业和草原局公布的「第二批国家森林乡村」名单[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
民国时隶属仙阳镇，此后先后改隶仙阳乡、巽源乡；1958年为仙阳公社巽源大队，1984年改为现名[1]。
文化[edit]
村子自古与佛教有关，旧有南台寺、惠应寺，现在的小学即原惠应寺所在地[2]。村中的景点有豆油潭、白马井、望天狮和千家寨[2]。
