殿基村在仙阳镇南端，地处浦城县北部，南浦溪上游一侧；205国道穿村而过，距浦南高速公路不足500米[1][2]。村名与南宋时两次洪水后迁居垫基筑屋有关[1]。2019年12月，村子被认定为全国乡村治理示范村[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
祖上最早在上湖一带开基。南宋绍兴十四年（1144年）洪水冲入上湖村，房舍大部分尚存；南宋淳祐十二年（1252年）农历六月二十日，又遭更大的洪水，上湖一带成为一片汪洋。此后居民在后垄周围挑土垫基，重新筑屋。“殿”与“垫”音近，由此得名殿基[1]。
民国时隶属仙阳镇，1951至1952年间先后归属第七区的太平乡、殿基乡；1958年为仙阳公社殿基大队，1984年改为现名[1]。
文化[edit]
村内保留清代民居7座，另有一座设36臼的大水碓，古民居的木雕、石雕、砖雕较为丰富[2]。村中还有祠堂、古井和老街[2]。
荣誉[edit]
殿基村先后获得多项荣誉：2019年12月认定为全国乡村治理示范村；2020年11月列入南平市“绿盈乡村”中级版村庄名单；2021年11月命名为2021年福建省卫生村；2023年2月入选福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村名单[1]。
