双坑村是富岭镇的行政村，村委会驻下双坑。村名由村前两条山坑汇合而来。村域隶属匡山支脉，出产山茶油。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属大石里，民国属富岭镇，其后隶属富岭乡与员盘乡。1958年为富岭公社双坑大队，1961年仍属富岭公社，1984年改为今名。[1]

2021年11月，村里获福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域下辖下双坑、上双坑、九际等13个自然村，编为13个村民小组。[1]
