历史沿革[edit]
清代属高泉里，民国属高泉乡。1958年隶属富岭公社前洋大队；1961年析出另设大水口大队，改属山路公社。1966年回到富岭公社，1984年改为今名。[1]
2020年11月，村子入选「福建省金牌旅游村」名单；2020年12月，入选2020年福建省森林村庄名单；2021年11月，获福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2021年12月，被确定为福建省第二批高级版「绿盈乡村」。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村域下辖大水口、毛源、大坑等6个自然村，分为6个村民小组。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
「横力袭击敌军车遗址」在村内横力一带的龙浦公路上，是当年游击队截击敌军车辆的地点。[3]
人口民族[edit]
2012年，村内有228户农家，人口790人，其中220人外出。[1]
