前洋村是富岭镇的行政村，村委会驻前洋。村子坐落在富岭溪流出山区前的一块山间盆地上，地面平阔，村名由此而来。村内有「前洋古道」和「前洋会议旧址」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代属高泉里，民国属高泉乡。新中国成立后，村子先后隶属高前乡和前口乡，1958年成为富岭公社的前洋大队。1961年改属山路公社，1984年改为今名。[1]

2021年11月，村里获福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域下辖黄奠口、权山、沙坑桥、流坑等5个自然村，分为6个村民小组。[1]

2012年，村内人口1004人，其中197人外出。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

「前洋古道」位于村子东北侧，为唐代所筑，全长约6000米，宽约2.5米，路面由河卵石铺成。古时它是跨省通道，人们用肩挑的方式运送浙江的盐和泉州一带的瓷器。2018年9月30日，古道被公布为县级文物保护单位。[2]

「前洋会议旧址」现为天后宫（妈祖庙）。1947年3月，中共闽浙边地委在此召开工作会议，商定分路开展活动。旧址为县级文物保护单位。[1][3]
