钱墩村位于岚下乡南部，靠近郭岩山的山麓，村域面积约17平方千米，与大历镇、建西镇相接。全村有7个自然村、12个村民小组。[1]

县道洋大线贯穿全村，主村距乡集镇约3公里，距国道528线约7公里。[1]

人口民族[edit]

博雅地名网载全村540户、2060人；百度百科则称总人口约三千余人。两说均未注明统计年份，此处并存。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的由来是早年居民多为钱姓。[1]

解放前即称钱墩村。1958年成立钱墩大队，归建瓯县岚下公社；1964年随建西县成立，改由建西县岚下公社管辖，1970年建西县撤销后再属顺昌县的岚下公社。1984年设钱墩村村民委员会，隶属岚下乡。[1]

村庄属于县革命老区村。[1]

经济[edit]

林业是村内的主要产业，有林地面积23000多亩，其中毛竹林11000多亩；食用菌、莲仔和烟叶也是村里的主导产业。[1]

2020年11月，村庄上榜2020年度南平市「绿盈乡村」中级版村庄名单。[1]
