岚下乡位于顺昌县东北部，郭岩山南麓，东与建瓯市房道镇相接，南与高阳乡为邻。乡域以山林为主，毛竹、笋竹和食用菌是主要产业，乡内的郭岩山相传为秦汉时方士隐居修炼之地，山上留有多处古迹。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

岚下一带古称“郭梅岐”，简称“梅岐”，历史上曾设梅岐里，“梅岐”之名取自传说中在郭岩山修炼的几位老者。[3]

宋代这一带属瓯宁县温柔乡的梅岐里。[5]

1949年后此地称岚下乡，隶属建瓯县。1959年设岚下公社，1964年划入建西县，1970年建西县撤销后岚下公社并入顺昌县。1984年10月起岚下公社裁撤，此地改为岚下乡建制，沿用至今。[6][5]

地理环境[edit]

乡境在郭岩山一带，峰峦起伏，属亚热带季风气候，雨量充沛，四季分明。全乡总面积215平方千米，林地约21.7万亩，耕地约2.4万亩，其中水田约1.97万亩。[1] 森林覆盖率据载为81.3%，毛竹山约11.5万亩。[7]

人口民族[edit]

据县政府网站2026年1月发布的乡情简介，全乡户籍人口20935人，常住人口9052人，共有98个自然村、124个村民小组。[1] 百度百科所载2019年末户籍人口为22771人。[5]

经济[edit]

毛竹、笋竹和食用菌是乡内的主导产业。食用菌种植自上世纪八十年代初开始，主要品种有竹荪、香菇、姬松茸和木耳。[1]

姓氏宗族[edit]

乡内有梅岐谢氏一脉，始祖为南宋谢枋得。据县方志部门整理的家训，谢枋得之子熙之在元至元年间流徙至建阳，随后迁居岚下象鼻山栖身，再迁保风（今称桥东）定居。[4]

岚下原有明清两代建造的谢氏祠堂数座。象鼻山上曾立有叠山衣冠冢，旧时每年冬节谢姓男丁前往祭扫，这一习俗延续到1949年。[4]

名胜古迹[edit]

郭岩山在乡境东北部的郭城村境内，主峰海拔1383.7米，是顺昌县最高峰。[1][9]

相传秦王政二年（公元前245年），方士郭洞阳曾隐居山中，练气养元，山因此得名。半山的紫云寺建造可追溯到五代后梁开平四年（910年），主峰上的青云寺始建于汉代。[1][9]

山上还留有汉代炼丹的遗迹、圆月池，以及一座僧人殡殓用的石塔和朱熹讲学的旧址；寺庙前一口古井中竖立着一根杉木，据传为唐代遗物，当地称“千年不朽木”。[2][3]

岐头通天大圣坛庙位于黄墩村岐头自然村，建于元至明代，庙宇与祭坛合为一处。该处于2025年12月31日被列为「福建省第十一批省级文物保护单位」。[10][8]

叠山纪念堂与古佛庵战斗纪念碑是市、县级爱国主义教育示范基地。[1]
