人口民族[edit]
早先居民以江姓为主，村名因此而来。2011年末，村中有265户、1106人。[1][2]
地理环境[edit]
村子海拔358米，全村总面积26921亩，其中林地14731亩，竹林8800亩，耕地1121亩。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
1946年这里称江洋堡；1952年起为江墩乡，归仁寿区管辖。[1]
1958年，本地编为江墩大队，划归跃进公社；1961年改属仁寿公社。1984年，这里设江墩村村民委员会，归仁寿乡管辖；1994年撤乡设镇后隶属仁寿镇。[1]
1948年至1949年间，村中有过贫农团组织，并进行过武装斗争。[2]

村民收入主要来自竹、笋、柑橘和锥栗。[2]
文化[edit]
2019年12月，江墩村被国家民委命名为第三批「中国少数民族特色村寨」。[2]
县政府网站称，村庄获「全省民族团结进步模范集体」称号，网站未注明年份。[3]
2023年10月，本村入选南平市「绿盈乡村」中级版村庄的名单；同年12月，又被认定为福建省「一村一品」专业村（柑橘）。[1][2]
